Tri-a-Tri in 2023

Sri Chinmoy was a spiritual teacher who dedicated his life in service to aspiring humanity. With all of his soulful offerings, his prayers and meditations, his literary, musical and athletic endeavors, Sri Chinmoy continues to inspire mankind.

On the athletic side of things, his legacy is a non-profit organisation that was established in 1981. There are now over 300 events each year that are organised around the world by this organisation. Try-a-Tri is a more recent initiative. These are short triathlons, ideal for the beginner, which are designed to encourage beginners into this fabulous sport. There are annual events organised in Bristol, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Perth, Oxford, Ipswich and London. If you are looking for a safe, well organised first triathlon, you can do no better than signing up to one of their events CLICK HERE for more information.

We are excited and honoured that ‘First Tri’ have been able to align with ‘Try-a-Tri’ to provide online training plans, video tutorials and Q+A support. If you do sign up to one of the Sri Chinmoy events and invest in a training plan through ‘First Tri’ do let the organisers at Sri Chinmoy know through this EMAIL. ‘First Tri’ will donate £10 to help support the ongoing work of this amazing organization. Our moto hear at First Tri is prepare, complete and enjoy. If you feel unsure if you are ready to commit, here are some words from Sri Chinmoy that may help.

“The determination in your heroic effort

Will permeate your mind and heart

Even after your success or failure

Is long forgotten.”

Sri Chinmoy, Ten Thousand Flower-Flames, Part 98, Agni Press, 1983.
